Because we work extensively in your premises Health and Safety is embedded into the training programme we developed in conjunction with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) with support from Jewel & Esk College in Edinburgh.

Frequently installing or refurbishing a floor is part of a larger construction project involving numerous trades, all of which have to co-exist within the building site. Naturally, all trades will have some impact on the flooring work so all our supervisors are trained to make H&S risk assessments of flooring working environments,

Similarly, if we are working in your home, we use the same meticulous approach to Health and Safety to ensure that your family and possessions are safe at all times. Whether we fit a floor in the smallest room in your house, or replace a massive sales floor in a major store within a fixed 12-hour time window, you can be confident that our fitters will operate with full H&S awareness and to a standard that commonly exceeds the statutory industry standards.

We are committed to continuous improvement so we also require that fitters note and share both best and worst H&S practices as they work on different sites. In this way we build upon over 40 plus years of our own experience to share best practice across our workforce.
